I think that these modifications sound okay, I would recommend doing a bit more in-depth modifications, though, for adding details to the instructions. These modifications should be significant - perhaps you could alter the UI pages in some way or add new tabs/pages to make the UI pop/ stand out? A quick tip for making new levels is to make each unique and special - new mechanics, obstacles, and challenges can help immensely with this.
